dear readers,
yesterday was such a long but good day that i didn't have time for myself
i work as a language teacher in a school for adults, so my students can go from 21 to 60 or even older. Yesterday one of my students did his last class in person since he's moving away, he's chill and we laugh a lot, so i'll miss teaching him. but honestly most of my students are chill and nice. although they're always rage baiting me (and they're good at it unfortunately)
my last class of the day ended at 9pm and since im the manager, i have to close up the classroom and pack up the tables and chairs etc, and thankfully, since my students are great, one of them stayed and put the tables away cause i bet he noticed my arm muscles aint that big.
this is not a common saying but i love my work and i love my students, they help me keep my mind off the things that bother me
but comes the hour long commute back home, and i'm back in this overthinking cycle, thinking about what i couldve done differently about a specific situation
one of my dear friend from uni asked for distance because he's talking to a new girl, i understand people need space sometimes but i'm just thinking about why is this happening, like he's my friend and i miss him but why this distance ? what am i supposed to do about all this, i dont know,
and that's exactly what my mind sounds like during my commute home
and i guess i write this to say im thankful for my job because i dont think i'd have grown this much as a person without it
anyways, im going out tonight for my friend's birthday and im so excited cause i havent seen her in a while so yay
toodles xxx
